Our Mission

Software has passed over the trades for years, leaving contractors with spreadsheets, back-of-the-truck math, and apps built by people who've never worked a jobsite. Our mission is to change that: an AI-powered estimating and workflow tool effective enough to actually earn its place in the truck, so contractors spend less time buried in paperwork and more time doing the work, with a better quality of life to show for it.

Our Story

Estimancer was founded in June 2026 in Seattle, Washington, after watching contractors lose entire evenings to spreadsheets, back-of-the-truck math, and estimate templates that had nothing to do with the trade they were actually good at.

We built Estimancer to close that gap. Describe a job by voice, photo, or a set of plans, and AI handles the takeoff: materials, labor, and markup, calibrated to your trade and region. Every price you confirm feeds the Cost Book, so each estimate gets sharper than the last. From there, send it for a signature, bill the job in draws, and track it on the calendar, all from one place. What used to take an evening of paperwork now takes minutes on the jobsite.

Leadership

Jeremy

Co-Founder, Estimancer

Jeremy is a Co-Founder at Estimancer, applying his background in philosophy and strategic leadership to an AI-driven startup. His work is grounded in the conviction that questions about value, choice, and human agency are essential to creating technology that serves people well.

A recent LMU graduate in Philosophy, Jeremy brings a first-principles approach to problem-solving, driven by curiosity about human autonomy in an age of automation. His leadership experience includes roles as President of the Aporia Debate Society, a Fellow at the Lonergan Center, and an ASLMU campaign manager. He has interned at GridLync and worked as a head counselor. A Dean's List honoree and fluent French speaker, Jeremy is focused on building a business worth building.

Truman Baker

Co-Founder, Estimancer

Truman co-founded Estimancer to put his computer science and finance background to work on a problem he kept seeing: contractors pricing jobs with a notepad and a guess. He thinks the trades deserve the same efficient, data-driven tools that have already reshaped so many other industries.

A Computer Science student at the University of Utah with coursework in finance through the David Eccles School of Business, Truman is drawn to the question of how automation can strip friction out of everyday work, and he builds things to find out. At Estimancer, he leads full-stack development and API design behind the company's AI estimation engine, drawing on a background in business strategy and start-up leadership. Originally from the Seattle area and now based in Salt Lake City, Truman is an avid golfer, skilled in full-stack development.

Blake Anderson

Co-Founder, Estimancer

Blake is a Co-Founder at Estimancer, bringing a hybrid background in software engineering and hands-on construction to the team. He graduated from Seattle University in June 2026 with a degree in Computer Science and has worked on developing software promoting NASA's Psyche mission. Prior to that, he gained practical experience in the field, working at Alpine Meadows Craft Builder and at Anderson's Garage Doors.

Blake's approach is grounded in execution: he cares about building systems that are reliable, maintainable, and actually useful. Outside of work, Blake enjoys hockey and pickleball.
