Built for the jobsite, not the office.

Seattle, WA· Founded June 2026

Our Mission

Our mission is to help contractors win more jobs by quoting faster. Describe a job in plain language and Estimancer builds a professional, trade-calibrated estimate in minutes. It handles materials, labor, and markup, so the quote is ready to send right from the jobsite.

Our Story

Estimancer was founded in June 2026 in Seattle, Washington, after watching contractors lose entire evenings to spreadsheets, back-of-the-truck math, and estimate templates that had nothing to do with the trade they were actually good at.

We built Estimancer to close that gap. Describe a job in plain language — by voice, by photo, or by typing it out — and let AI handle the takeoff: materials, labor, and markup, calibrated to your trade and region. What used to take an evening now takes minutes, so contractors can spend less time behind a screen and more time on the tools.

Truman Baker

Co-Founder, Estimancer

Truman is a Co-Founder at Estimancer, applying his background in computer science and finance to an AI-driven startup built for contractors. His work is grounded in the conviction that the trades running on paper and guesswork deserve the same efficient, data-driven tools that have transformed other industries.

A Computer Science student at the University of Utah with coursework in finance through the David Eccles School of Business, Truman brings a builder's approach to problem-solving, driven by curiosity about how automation can remove friction from everyday work. At Estimancer, he leads full-stack development and API design behind the company's AI estimation engine, drawing on a background in business strategy and start-up leadership. His interest in financial systems dates back to his time as Grand Treasurer of his university's Kappa Sigma chapter, where he managed budgeting and led a full financial turnaround for the organization. Originally from the Seattle area and now based in Salt Lake City, Truman is an avid golfer, skilled in Java, Python, and JavaScript.

Blake Anderson

Co-Founder, Estimancer

Prior to that, he gained practical experience in the field—working at Alpine Meadows Craft Builder and at Anderson's Garage Doors.

Blake's approach is grounded in execution: he cares about building systems that are reliable, maintainable, and actually useful. Outside of work, Blake enjoys hockey and pickleball.
